Article is devoted the interaction of structural steel with heavy leadcontaining coolants on the definition of the diffusion effect of metal components steel output through the oxide coating on the mass transfer in the flow circuit. Based on the analysis of experimental data rendered quantitative estimates of the intensity of metallic impurities proceeds directly into the coolant. It is shown that in the nonisothermal conditions of the circulation circuit, their share could be 50% or more of the total intensity of the oxidation of the matrix of steel, which must be considered when developing systems cooling technologies.
