The results of research into the fuel cladding made of the ChS68 and EK64 austenitic steels after operation in the BN-600 reactor are presented. The change in diameters, the swelling, the mechanical properties, the electric resistance and the Young modulus of the cladding materials along the fuel pins have been determined.
